Listening diary, 20070501

May 1, 2007

Khoom (1962) by Giacinto Scelsi (wikipedia). I’d tell you which recording but I’m listening to my iPod and don’t have the info handy It’s this one. Nobody does space like Scelsi. Here’s an essay with recommendations by composer Richard Barrett.

I was initially hepped to Scelsi by John Shiurba ( MySpace ), about whom I’ve posted recently.
